&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can check if your direct debit has been successfully set up via the AGL my account platform by following the below instructions.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp;Login to My Account and select 'Account Settings' from the 'hello user' dropdown in the top righthand corner of the page.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Within the 'Billing &amp;amp; Payments' section, find the item called 'Direct Debit' and click on 'Edit'.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This will show you if direct debit is active, if not you can add it here.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. Click 'Set up Direct Debit'.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4.&amp;nbsp;Select either an 'existing payment method', or 'add a new method'.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am trying to set up Direct Debit from a bank account. When I submit the bank details, I am returned to the page that prompts me to set up direct debit. My account still says I need to set up direct debit.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A confirmation page would be nice? This is simple stuff, and also infuriating.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
