not sure if anyone else has had issues with energy app, but recently joined agl and for the first month the app read how much solar was being created and how much electricity we were getting from grid, but the last eight weeks it hasn’t updated; I’ve tried numerous times trying to get help from agl but no success; any advice would be appreciated

Hi TWW, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Usually, the app starts to reflects the usage information after 15 business days of receiving a successful meter reading. However, in your case we are past the usual timeframe so I want to look further into this to get a better understanding. I'll send you a private message shortly to discuss further. Cheers, Deepesh

Is there anyone else at AGL that promises to help rectify then nothing happens !!! So far 2 from 2 promises but no response; getting a little tired or is there anyone in neighbourhood that’s had this issue that could please give me some advice on how to rectify

I had a 25 day run of estimated data in June, just started doing this randomly after working fine since our solar install last Nov / Dec.

This thread covers what was wrong with ours (digital meter software) . . .

That may or may not be your problem.

Believe me, I had a great AGL team member on my side, David_AGL, who's left the company now, but Basil_AGL is here now and doing much of what David was, he's settling in still I think.

You must have someone that can liaise with the AGL tech people on this sort of issue.

Hopefully you can get to the bottom of it soon.

Thank you - will have a look today;, but now the app doesn’t show anything at all; sounds like you had great agl support; would be great to track these guys down; it should been an easy fix; I had another guy come and look at meter and he said everything’s in order and couldn’t understand why the data was being captured and reported through app; he said agl should be able to rectify quite quickly; didn’t go through all the hassle I’ve had trying to get help from agl.

Finally the app is working thank you to the IT gurus that spent a few weeks in problem; took a while and a lot of perseverance

Hi , I’m having trouble with my AGL app monitoring usage. Each day it starts of showing all details then nothing for at least 2-4 hrs. With the sun still shining why does it all of a sudden stop giving visual monitoring.

@Burto123 . . . I have what I think is the only AGL app, it doesn't do any real time monitoring, just billing info, plan info, rates etc . . . and historic usage info from data when they get it end of next day from your energy provider.

Can you confirm what you are looking at with monitoring ?

I have an app for my solar system that does the real time solar production and usage.

Hi, our app doesn’t upload until next day; usage and export, sorry can’t help; my problem was the app wasn’t uploading for weeks with any data at all - can’t help I’m afraid

I have real time monitoring app through invertor; but monitoring through AGL app gives me overview of daily solar exported in either KWh or dollar value and also gives me daily readings of electricity used from grid in kWh or costs; interesting though when you compare both invertor app and AGL app there is always a discrepancy; between solar exported on both apps; but I’m just glad I can track it now through AGL app; definitely export more than we use

Hi I am having this exact problem for the past week with my app there is no data for energy from my solar & none from what I use off the grid. What did you do to get it fixed?

Sounds like your having the same problem I had; it eventually went to AGL IT gurus who spent a few weeks fixing the problem; it appeared the data was not uploading onto the AGL app; it was an internal fix; nothing I could do to rectify

Thank you for your help but how did you get connected with the ITGurus please? All I can reach is a foreign call centre person who tells me all customers have this problem today! Not true

They must be monitoring site as they eventually sent me a private message stating they were investigating issue

My mobile data usage is inaccessible. Just repeats information not available.

Speaking to customer service is pointless,just repeats the same spiel or doesn't respond at all.
