Comms. from United Energy regarding a Alteration Application

I keep receiving messages (emails and SMS) from United Energy regarding a Alteration application. I did not initiate the application and it says it was submitted by my "electrician" someone by the name of Maria Vacaj.
Please advise if this stream of communications are SCAM/ Phishing expeditions.
