Request for additional features in the Chargefox app

Thanks for approving my request to join the group 😊

 

Would like to suggest 2 additional features for the Chargefox app. 

 

1) Option to “start” charging. Right now we can “stop” charging but there’s no option to start/restart the charging. It has to be done manually.

 

2) Ability to schedule/set charging (time) parameters. Would be great to leave the charger plugged in but only start and stop charging a predetermined programmed/scheduled time. 

I remember seeing this as a feature when I first signed up, but this feature still hasn’t made it into the app.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I think your suggestion #1 for starting charging via the app is already available.

 

I've attached a copy of a user guide for the app - on page two there's a smaller button in the middle of the screen that says 'charge car now'.  Is this appearing in your app for you?

Your suggestion #2 is a great idea, and is something that I think will likely be built into future smart charging offerings. Many EVs have this feature built into them directly now too - what kind of EV do you drive?
